Are you a senior?

Why pay for a trainer?
Strength training doesn't need specialty equipment. You can do fitness wherever you are. There are many YouTube videos with exercises you can do. But the benefits of having a consistent appointment with a physical trainer who is trained in how bodies age and how to get the most benefit from weights is worth it. It keeps you on a schedule with your health prioritized. A physical trainer can adjust exercises for you if some part of your body is hurting or sore, or watch to be sure that you have the right form to prevent injury.
Why train with me?
I'm certified in SilverSneakers, a recognized program for senior citizens. I've worked with seniors on an individual and group basis for many years. And, I've had some of the injuries that are common with seniors and know the reality of training with an injury - and how hard it is to live with pain.
My approach is to find out what your goals are and what challenges you have meeting those goals. We figure out a schedule and a plan together to make sure that you feel motivated to continue on with strength training as part of your life style so you can achieve the other goals in your life.
Currently, I offer individual training sessions and a small weekly class on Friday mornings, just for seniors. Contact me if you're interested.
